Goodbye Constitution

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately.

Didja notice that the Democratic-led Congress handed President Bush the gift of monarchy yesterday? When King Bush II signs H.R. 6304 into law today (probably cackling with glee over just how much the "opposition party" in Congress gave him), you can say goodbye to any protection from unreasonable search and seizure you may have thought was provided by the Bill of Rights.

Didja notice that? No?

I'm sorry; go back to your American Idol, and make sure to go to church on Sunday to pray to Invisible Sky Man. Didn't mean to disturb your slumber.

Comments:
Ouch.

1) Yeah, I'm feeling bitter this morning.

2) I see a paralel between the attitude from Americans to accept Bush acting in an authoritarian, autocratic way, and the "humble" Christian submitting to God (or His Earthly representatives). It's why the Founding Fathers wanted to make sure religion had no place in governing - and why Republicans have spent decades blurring the lines.

Technically American Idol is over this year. Currently we're all wondering whose gonna walk away with it... er... something on So You Think You Can Dance!.

Seriously, sad day for Americans and a sad day for Democrates. Why can't they not bend over?

I am so pissed about this, I can barely put a cogent thought into words. I'd personally like to thank Obama for showing his true colors and voting for it, despite his earlier position. At least I didn't vote for him before finding out where the Constitutional Law professor stood on the Constitution.

At least I could say that Bush was too stupid to understand what he was doing. BHO shoved a broomhandle up Lady Libery's ass on purpose.

I now have no idea who the hell I'm going to vote for in "November".

P.S. I want my $5 contribution back, you Tennessee Reconstruction Republican House Boy.
