Sho Don'tzono
Thank goodness Sho Dozono lost the mayor's race. After the ridiculously clueless way he ran his campaign, from start to finish, with so many stops of ridiculousness along the way I'm unable to link them all, I just couldn't have handled it if Portlanders thought he was the best candidate.
Buh-bye, Sho.

WTF? You truly endorse that douche bag Adams? He of bankrupt-tram budget-Vera Katz ilk? He of pet projects in light of basic services?
I had no option but to vote again for the lessor of two evils.
Sam will be Vera, 2.0.
Portland is so far in debt and it is only going to get worse.
Sam being elected is going to be regrettable, bring on the recall you sheep.

Normally I delete anonymous comments (see my about page for details) but it's more fun to mock this one, simply by mentioning:
You're an idiot if you think that Dozono and Adams were the only two candidates.
Me pointing out that Dozono ran an illegal campaign from beginning to end is not the same as "truly endorsing Sam Adams". I didn't even mention Sam Adams in my post, nor anywhere on my site, pro or con.
Sod off, anonymous, and go back to reading Bojack.

I honestly had no idea what Sho would do if elected. I tried as hard as I could to follow the election, but when push came to shove, I could tell you what he was against, but I couldn't tell you what he was for.
Do you think that's that a failing of the local media, or did he run a bad campaign? Since OPB stopped covering local elections, I'm lost on a lot of issues. I don't get squat from reading what's left of the Trib, the O, WW, or other weeklies.
As for the other candidate(s), I even further in the dark. I'm not proud of that either, and don't want it to happen again.
