Teaching moment

I learned at least two things from the cute new clerk at my neighborhood coffee shop this morning when I stopped to chat and flirt with her.

First, that the nutmeg nut is potent and hallucinogenic in it's native form.

Second, that she dates women, not men.

Obviously, I've left out a lot of context, but everyone I've told this story to so far has questioned me about the conclusions I've drawn.

But when I fill in the conclusions, they accept that my conclusions are probably correct.

It's weird.

From reading your blog today, I've learned that conclusions are, indeed, a weird thing.

I've also learned that many of your readers do not comment on your blog.
