My right foot, heel, and ankle feel fine this morning. Apparently the alternating hot/cold treatment is working, because I ran hard last night. True, I ran on a treadmill, with all of it's attendant cushioning. But even in the past, running on a treadmill would aggravate my foot pain - not this time, though. I will continue to apply the hot/cold treatment for another week. Maybe I can heal up entirely.

Hi Brian!
My friend Sue (the girl version of you when it comes to running) had the same problem with her foot. I guess all runners do at some point.

She did the hot and cold treatment as well. It worked after a month or so, but what really helped, was Epsom salt in the hot water (hot as you can stand it). Use as much as called for, per gallon of water.

Whenever my tired old muscles hurt, I use tons of it in the bath, that and the blood of republican virgins. It helps. Have you tried it?
