Still no sign of Smacky.

I put up about 20 flyers all over my neighborhood. I even put them up in the grocery store, the mini-mart, and the coffee shop. If I hadn't got such a late start I would have gone to the cat hospital and the vet and put up flyers there, too.

Tomorrow I should call the Humane Society and other cat shelters and see if they've got him.

Poor Smacky. I feel so bad, like I've let him down.

Did he have a collar? Name tag?I wish I could help, but I don"t think he had Tehachapi in mind when he took off. Poor thing. I hope you find him. =( That is so sad.

lLeave a little bowl of food for him outside your door with one of your (yes!) dirty socks. Cats smell everything, maybe he is still around the area and will come back. I feel so bad for you.
