Dammit!
I wanted a pair of trail shoes to complement my regular shoes (Brooks Adrenaline GTS 5). Well, plus, I had this 10% off coupon for a local running store. And there's a trail run coming up in Tillamook - I may have posted about that run before.
Anyway, last month's issue of Runner's World had a review of trail shoes and Brooks makes a trail version of my current shoe.

At any rate, I called a couple of local running stores yesterday and today, and they didn't have my size (I wear a men's 10 EE -- yeah, I've got wide feet. Remember, though, that my running shoes are larger than what I normally wear. Need more room when I run). So I called the company itself, and found that they don't offer widths in that shoe yet. Trail shoes are a new thing for them, so they're testing the waters first.
Dammit, dammit, dammit. sigh
